Sweet Home Chicago!

We did some traveling last month and had a wonderful time, now we're so happy to be home. This month Antonio is performing for alot of private events, but you can always come out to see him on Fridays- Martini's on Main on Friday nights and Thursday & Sunday nights for dinner at Regina's. Still scoring music for Journey to India- the CD is going to be TRANSCENDENT!!! Soon we'll have some samples up on the website for you to enjoy. In the meantime, enjoy the sights and smells of summer while you can- soon you'll be listening to Antonio's music while slurping Pumpkin soup or something.

Tons of Gigs this month at Reginas so stop in and check out the great food and musical atmosphere.
Music for Journey in India continues to be written. Antonio is very excited about this project and is very inspired to incorporate some awesome India-inspired music into his live performances. Be on the lookout for amazing new discoveries at The Historic Hotel Baker. They have big plans unfolding for you!
Stop in Hotel Baker on April 12th to meet a great friend of Antonio's, Tito Renghini as he will be a special guest DJ that evening.

Join Antonio as he explores some new venues this month. Some of the new spots are: Brass Restaurant and Brewery in South Barrington and Bridges Fine Art Gallery in Saint Charles.
Also, Antonio wil be performing with his Jazz Trio, The Antonio Soriano Trio for a Valentine's Day Dinner (Feb 16th) at Sedona Grille, in Bloomingdale.
On February 14th, you can catch Antonio at Martini's on Main. Check the scrolling dates above for more info and links to venue web sites.

Antonio commissioned to score Journey in INDIA, a new Public Television Series.
The cameras in India are rolling RIGHT NOW!

Italian program presented at Purdue Calumet, April 14
"In the Italian Tradition…" will be celebrated during the next program of Purdue University Calumet's Building Community through the Arts series, Saturday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The program, held in Alumni Hall of Purdue Calumet's Student Union & Library, will feature Italian-Canadian poet Gianna Patriarca. The author of "Italian Women and Other Tragedies" and "Daughters for Sale" is respected among numerous Canadian and American universities.
The program also will include a literary presentation by Purdue Calumet Professor of Communication Theresa Carilli, who has published two books of plays, co-edited two anthologies and has guest edited a theater issue of "Voices in Italian Americana." She will present a literary creative piece based on Italian culture.
Additionally, there will be performances by Italian guitarist Antonio Soriano, Purdue Calumet instructor/vocalist Patricia Hales and a comedy selection by performers of The Piccolo Theatre.
Refreshments provided by nearby Café Borgia also will be served.
Admission, including refreshments, is free.
Building Community through the Arts is a Purdue Calumet effort intended to engage and celebrate through artistic, innovative expression the many diverse cultures that comprise northwest Indiana.
